About the project

Modular Hydraulic Goods Lift Design in SolidWorks Nandan GSE has been designing and manufacturing lifting systems for over 23 years. During this period, we have installed more than 500 hydraulic goods lifts. We now intend to standardise and modularise our existing goods lift design so that lifts of different capacities, platform sizes and lifting heights can be engineered using a repeatable design system. The project will be completed in two phases. (Phase 1 is the current one ) Phase 1: SolidWorks Modelling and Documentation The existing goods lift design is approximately 90% complete. The selected freelancer will convert the available design information into a properly structured and repeatable SolidWorks model. The work will include: - Parametric 3D modelling in SolidWorks - Complete assembly and subassembly models - Manufacturing and fabrication drawings - Bill of Materials - Standardisation of parts and assemblies - Creation of a design structure that can be adapted for different capacities, dimensions and lifting heights - Submission of all native and fully editable SolidWorks files This is primarily a modelling, detailing and standardisation assignment based on an existing and proven design. Phase 2: Design Automation After the successful completion of Phase 1, Nandan GSE intends to automate the design process so that drawings, models and Bills of Materials can be generated for different lift specifications in a modular manner. Phase 2 will be discussed separately and will initially be offered only to the freelancer successfully completing Phase 1. Freelancer Requirements The freelancer should have: - Strong experience in SolidWorks 3D modelling and assemblies - Experience in parametric and configurable mechanical design - Ability to prepare accurate manufacturing drawings and BOMs - Experience with fabricated structures and mechanical equipment - Their own licensed SolidWorks software - Good attention to detail and file organisation - Relevant samples of similar mechanical design work should be submitted with the proposal. Confidentiality and Ownership The selected freelancer will be required to sign a confidentiality and intellectual-property agreement before beginning the work. All models, drawings, Bills of Materials, design data, calculations and related project files created under this assignment will remain the exclusive property of Nandan GSE Pvt Ltd. The completed work: - Must not be shared with any third party - Must not be published online - Must not be displayed in the freelancer’s portfolio - Must not be reused for another customer - Must not be placed in the public domain - The final handover must include all native, editable and properly organised SolidWorks files.
