About the project

I need a precise 3D drawing that focuses solely on the exterior casing of a new consumer-electronics device. The electronics and internal layout are already locked in, so the priority is creating a sleek, manufacturable shell that fits the provided PCB outline, port locations, and overall dimensional envelope. You’ll receive hand sketches, reference images, and a dimensional spec sheet as a starting point. From there, translate the concept into a production-ready CAD model, keeping injection-moulding constraints—draft angles, wall thickness, split lines, and snap fits—front of mind. Material call-outs and basic DFM recommendations are welcome if they streamline tooling later. Deliverables: • Finished 3D CAD file of the exterior casing in STEP (preferred) and STL • Native file from SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or comparable parametric software • Quick renders or screenshots that show fit, finish, and port alignment Acceptance criteria: • All dimensions match the spec within ±0.2 mm • Ready for mould-tool quotation with proper draft and uniform walls • All edges, fillets, and openings placed exactly as per the sketches and PCB layout Once the model meets these checks, the project is complete and ready to move to tooling.
