About the project

I need an experienced CAD/CAM professional who can take full ownership of forging tool and die design in Delcam – PowerShape for solid modelling and PowerMill for CAM programming. Accuracy and strict adherence to ISO standards sit at the heart of every project we run, so your models, drawings, and NC code must align with those benchmarks from day one. My current priority is design accuracy and compliance, which means every drawing you touch must clearly capture dimensional accuracy, material specifications, and the tolerance levels that keep our parts within spec on the shop floor. You will interpret customer and internal prints, translate them into robust 3D models, create machinable toolpaths, and work closely with production to validate manufacturability and durability before release. I’m looking for someone with 3–5 years of hands-on Delcam experience in the automotive or heavy-engineering forging space who can: • Build and revise complete die sets in PowerShape • Generate and optimise PowerMill toolpaths ready for hard tooling • Spot design risks early and propose solutions that cut lead time without sacrificing quality • Communicate clearly with machinists, QA and project engineers through the entire lifecycle Deliverables are the finished 3D tool models, fully verified CAM programs, and supporting drawings/datasets that meet ISO requirements and pass our internal review gate. If you thrive on precision and want to see your tools running on high-tonnage presses, let’s talk.
