# Native iPhone LiDAR Foot Scanning App for Custom Bootmaking (Prototype) ## Project Summary Stewart Boot Company is seeking an experienced **native iOS developer** to build the first prototype of a custom foot-scanning application for iPhone Pro models with LiDAR. This application will be used by professional bootmakers to collect foot data for designing custom boots and lasts. This is **Phase 1** of a larger project. We are looking for a working prototype that can be expanded over time. ## Required Skills * Swift * SwiftUI * ARKit * RealityKit * Apple LiDAR * 3D mesh generation * Photogrammetry * Computer Vision * Experience exporting 3D models (OBJ, STL, USDZ, PLY) ## Phase 1 Requirements The app must: * Create or open a client record. * Guide the operator through three separate scan sequences: * Full non-weight-bearing 3D foot scan * Weight-bearing foot scan to capture foot splay and dimensional changes * Non-weight-bearing dorsiflexion scan to capture ankle/foot relationship * Guide the operator through a required sequence of labeled clinical photographs. * Allow additional labeled photographs and voice notes. * Record manual foot measurements, including: * Foot length * Arch length * Ball width * Ball girth * Instep girth * Short heel measurement (Stewart Boot method) * Heel width * Ankle and calf measurements * Generate an initial scaled 3D foot model. * Preserve all original photographs and scan data. * Save all information under the correct client. ## Dorsal Cross-Sections (Required) The system must generate transverse cross-sections through the foot model ("dorsal cards") at user-defined stations from heel to forefoot. Each cross-section should include: * Raw anatomical outline * Smoothed outline * Width * Height * Cross-sectional perimeter * Distance from heel reference Cross-sections should be exportable in a format suitable for future last development. ## Deliverables * Native iPhone application * Source code * Xcode project * TestFlight build * 3D model export * Documentation ## Proposal Requirements Please include: 1.
