Complete Villa Lighting Layout

About the project

I need a lighting designer who can turn my new villa into a showcase—inside and out—in just one week. The brief covers the entire residence plus the surrounding exterior, so every room, corridor and façade must feel cohesive once the sun goes down. Indoors I want to rely mainly on hidden strip lights and ceiling-mounted spot lights. If those two layers don’t meet the task-lighting needs in certain zones, I’m open to adding linear lights for balance. Outdoors, the concept is simpler but just as important: ground-mounted fixtures ringing the villa to emphasize its architecture and create a welcoming glow from every angle. You’ll receive my CAD floor plans, ceiling heights and a few reference photos as soon as we start. From there I’m counting on you to calculate ideal fixture counts, beam angles, placement distances and circuit grouping so that the final layout is both practical and visually polished. Deliverables • Scaled lighting plan for every interior space and the full exterior perimeter • Fixture schedule naming manufacturers, model numbers, lamp types and wattages • Load summary suitable for hand-off to the electrical contractor • Basic 3D or rendered views that prove the concept (key areas only) Please respond with evidence of similar residential projects you’ve completed so I can gauge your experience quickly.
