About the project

I will send you native STEP models and I need them transformed into ready-to-run GibbsCAM programs for a mix of 2D and complex 3D milled parts. Your toolpaths have to be clean, efficient, and fully simulated so I can drop the code straight onto the machine without edits. Although milling is the core requirement, several parts also move to a lathe afterward, so experience applying roughing, finishing, and threading strategies—and holding tight tolerances—will be very useful. Additionally, expertise in 5-axis machining and knowledge of basic machining practices are required. This project has the potential to lead to an ongoing partnership with the right candidate. The ideal candidate should also be available on-call to program parts as bids are won. To keep everything smooth, please return: • GibbsCAM files with all operations organised and named • an export of the verified G-code • a tooling list and setup sheet so the shop can load straight away If you’re comfortable meeting those points and hitting the tolerances first time, let’s talk.
