3D Glass Plant Render
hr INR 750–1250
About the project
I already have a complete 2-D AutoCAD layout of a glass batch plant and now need it brought to life in three dimensions. You will receive the original DWG files with layers for walls, equipment, and services; these should remain the geometric backbone of the model. Scope of modelling • Convert the supplied 2-D drawings into a clean, well-organised 3-D model. • Include every structural component called out in the CAD (columns, beams, floors, platforms, stairs). • Represent all machinery and process equipment that appears in the layout—hoppers, silos, conveyors, mixers, etc.—with enough fidelity for clear visualisation but without fine-thread bolts or micro-detail. • Add the utility lines and pipe runs on their own layer so they can be toggled on or off. Colour-coding by service would be helpful. Level of finish I am after moderate detail: dimensions and proportions must remain accurate, but standard fasteners, minor brackets, and cosmetic fillets can be simplified. Smart use of materials and basic lighting is encouraged so the render reads clearly and avoids a “grey model” look. Deliverables • Native 3-D file that preserves layer structure (your choice of Revit, Inventor, SolidWorks, or a clean .dwg/.step model). • At least three high-resolution still renders (plan-view, isometric, and eye-level). • A brief text file describing any assumptions or deviations made during modelling. Acceptance criteria The model must overlay perfectly with the original 2-D when sectioned, show all equipment call-outs from the CAD, and keep file size within a practical range for future editing. If clarifications are needed up front, let me know; otherwise I will forward the DWG package so you can begin right away.
