About the project

3D Designer Needed to Fix & Optimise Existing Tooth Fairy Product I’m looking for an experienced 3D/CAD designer to help fix and optimise an existing 3D design for a children’s product called Tooth Fairy Express. The product has already been designed, but I’m having issues getting a good-quality print on my Bambu Lab P2S. The current design was originally created with injection moulding in mind, so I need someone experienced in FDM 3D printing to modify and optimise the files specifically for 3D printing. What I need: * Review the existing CAD/STL files * Identify and fix the areas causing poor print quality * Optimise wall thicknesses, tolerances and geometry for FDM printing * Ensure the product prints cleanly and reliably * Make the dish/inside tooth area larger * Remove the face from the design * Keep the overall appearance and concept of the original design * Ensure the finished design is suitable for repeated printing * Provide the final editable CAD file and print-ready STL/3MF files Important: This is a children’s product, so the design needs to be robust, safe and have no unnecessary small/removable components. I will provide the existing design files and photos/videos of the current print issues. I’m looking for someone who has proven experience designing and modifying products specifically for FDM 3D printing, preferably with Bambu Lab printers. Please include examples of similar work you have completed and let me know if you can work from an existing CAD design rather than creating the product from scratch. I would also like to retain full ownership of the modified design and files upon completion.
