Flood-to-Drought Motion Graphics Film

About the project

I am producing a 5–6-minute, highly realistic motion-graphics film that shows how excess floodwater in India can be captured, routed through river gates and pipelines, and delivered to drought-prone regions. You will receive the core satellite imagery from me; your job is to layer precision-matched motion graphics on top of those maps so viewers can clearly see the water’s journey and the engineering behind it. The sequence must open with real satellite visuals of the swollen rivers, transition into a data-driven simulation of the proposed flood-relief system, and close by illustrating the positive impact on arid zones. Key points I need you to cover in the animation • Accurate depiction of current flood spread, using my supplied imagery as the base layer • Dynamic overlays that reveal gate operations, pipeline paths, flow direction, and volume changes in real time • Visual clarification of benefits to communities and farmland once water reaches drought areas I expect cinematic yet factual motion graphics, smooth camera moves, clear typography for labels, and a cohesive colour palette that distinguishes flooded, transit, and revitalised zones. Industry-standard tools such as After Effects, Element 3D, Cinema 4D, or Houdini for fluid simulations are welcome—as long as the final render feels authentic. Deliverables 1. 5–6-minute full-HD (or higher) final video, ready for voice-over and distribution 2. Project source files with all comps, layers, and assets neatly organised 3. One short preview cut (30 s) halfway through production so we can confirm style and accuracy I will be available to answer technical questions about the water-transfer plan and to supply any shapefiles or additional imagery you may need.
