About the project

I am looking for a structural engineer with proven experience in CYPE 3D to assist me with the structural analysis of a 2P single-axis solar tracker for a Mechanical Engineering academic project. Proven experience with CYPE 3D is mandatory. Applicants must have actual experience modeling and analyzing steel structures in CYPE 3D. The project is 100% remote, and I would prefer a Spanish-speaking structural engineer based in Latin America. Experience with solar trackers, photovoltaic support structures, light steel structures, wind loads, and Eurocode 3 would be highly valued. The geometry, photovoltaic modules, structural configuration, and main loads are already defined. I also have a similar structural project that can be used as a methodological reference. I mainly need assistance with: - Building and reviewing the structural model in CYPE 3D. - Steel profile selection and definition. - Correct application of dead, wind, and snow loads. - Load combinations and boundary conditions. - Buckling parameters. - Structural verification and profile sizing. - Review and interpretation of CYPE 3D results. The structure consists of a longitudinal torque tube, steel columns, and secondary steel profiles supporting the PV modules. Applicants should briefly describe their previous CYPE 3D experience and provide an example or screenshot of a structural model they have previously developed in CYPE 3D.
