About the project
I have a full set of architectural drawings in PDF that must first be traced or converted into clean, fully layered DWG files. Accuracy is key: every wall, opening, fixture and level needs to carry through at the correct scale so I can use the files for permitting and future modifications. Once the as-built drawings are ready, I’d like you to take the project a step further and develop a comprehensive modernization strategy covering both the interior and the exterior. Think updated layouts, refreshed façades, contemporary materials, improved circulation and better use of light—everything that will bring the property up to today’s aesthetic and functional standards. Deliverables • Editable DWG set that mirrors the original PDFs • Concept redesign drawings—plans, key elevations and sections—for interior and exterior improvements • PDF exports of all new drawings for easy sharing I work in AutoCAD, so native DWG is essential. Feel free to use Revit, SketchUp or other tools for the redesign as long as final output arrives in DWG and PDF. If you can add basic 3D views to illustrate design intent, that’s a plus, but the critical path is the accurate conversion and clear modernization proposal.
