Flexscan 3D Turntable Control DLL

About the project

I need a Windows DLL that Flexscan 3D can load at runtime so the software can drive a Revopoint Dual Turntable. You may start from, or simply reference, the open-source controller code here: https://github.com/opensourcemanufacturing/Revopoint-Dual-Turntable. Core behaviours • Start and stop rotation on command • Adjust rotation speed dynamically • Keep the table’s position in-sync with each scan trigger coming from Flexscan 3D • (Nice-to-have) expose a tilt-angle routine so I can script multi-axis captures later Interface expectations Flexscan 3D talks to plug-ins through a plain C-style DLL entry point. I can share sample calls that the software issues; however, there is no official SDK, so you will be doing a bit of reverse-engineering or wrapper work. As long as the exported functions you create respond with the right return codes, Flexscan will recognise them. Turntable comms The Revopoint board is driven over USB-serial via bluetooth. Their GitHub project already contains packet formats for speed, direction and stop commands, so you can borrow that logic or rewrite it in cleaner C/C++⁠/⁠C#. The DLL must open, configure and close the COM port cleanly so Flexscan never locks up. Deliverables 1. Compiled 64-bit DLL ready to drop into Flexscan’s “plugins” folder 2. Full source code with build instructions (Visual Studio solution preferred) 3. A short README explaining the exported functions and any parameters Flexscan should pass 4. A test console or script that demonstrates all four features outside Flexscan Acceptance I will consider the job complete when the DLL lets me: • launch Flexscan, press “scan”, and see the table rotate in step with frame capture; • modify rotation speed from within Flexscan without reconnecting; • stop the table instantly when scanning ends; • invoke the tilt-angle command from the demo script and confirm movement. If you are comfortable with serial protocols, C/C++, and plugin development, this should be a focused task. Let me know any questions and the approximate timeline you need.
