First-Person Tactical Shooter
AUD 30–250
About the project
I’m commissioning a PC-only, first-person tactical shooter and need a seasoned developer or small team to take it from concept to a playable build. The project’s heart is tight, skill-based gunplay, layered with strategic elements such as cover, flanking routes, and AI that punishes reckless moves. Think more deliberate than an arcade run-and-gun, yet still instantly satisfying when the plan comes together. Core scope • First-person perspective exclusively • Target platform: Windows PC (no console or mobile ports needed) • Emphasis on realistic weapon handling, hit detection, and moment-to-moment tactical decision-making I’m engine-agnostic—Unreal Engine, Unity, or a custom solution are all viable so long as performance, mod-friendliness, and visual fidelity remain priorities. Feel free to recommend middleware for networking, physics, and AI if it speeds development without sacrificing quality. What I need from you When you respond, link me directly to past work that proves you can ship a polished shooter or similarly complex 3D title on PC. A concise demo reel or playable download speaks louder than a long résumé; extra text beyond necessary context isn’t required. Milestones and timelines are open for discussion once we’ve aligned on scope, but the first deliverable I expect is a grey-box prototype showcasing basic movement, shooting, and enemy AI behaviors inside a test arena. From there we’ll iterate on mechanics, art direction, and level design together. If crafting a tightly focused, tactical FPS sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk specifics and get this build underway.
