About the project

I have a mechanical part concept sketched out and now need it converted into a fully-defined 3D CAD model that a machine shop can rely on. Your task is to take the rough dimensions and functional notes I will supply, model the component accurately, apply any critical tolerances I flag, and export the final result as a STEP file ready for CAM or CNC programming. Alongside the 3D file, I also need manufacturing-grade drawings that call out overall dimensions, hole sizes, thread specs and any finishing notes so a machinist can produce the piece without further clarification. If you usually generate auxiliary DXF or DWG views for laser or water-jet profiles, that is welcome, but the primary deliverable remains the STEP model. You can work in SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360 or another mainstream mechanical CAD package—as long as the geometry translates cleanly to STEP. I am happy to answer design intent questions quickly so you are never blocked. Deliverables: • Fully parametric 3D model (STEP) • Annotated 2D manufacturing drawing (PDF + native) I will sign off once the model imports error-free on my side, dimensions match the specification, and the drawings read clearly for the shop. Looking forward to collaborating.
