Title: Mechanical Engineer Needed: Vertical Chain-Driven Person Lift Design (300kg, 3m Travel) Description: Looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer (CAD/FEA) to design a 300kg payload vertical platform lift for passengers/accessibility. We are moving towards creating a prototype, so this project requires precision and technical foresight for manufacturing. Key Technical Specs: Type: Vertical Person Lift / Accessibility Platform. Lifting Height (Travel): Up to 3 meters. Payload Capacity: 300 kg (working capacity with standard safety factors). Platform Dimensions: 1.0m x 1.2m (standard size for wheelchair / passenger access). Drive System: Electromechanical chain-driven mechanism with gearmotor. Structure: Steel frame, guide rails, safety gear (anti-drop device), and emergency stops. Required Deliverables: 3D CAD Model: Native (SolidWorks/Inventor/Fusion) & STEP files. 2D Manufacturing Drawings: Detailed part, assembly, and weldment drawings with tolerances. FEA & Engineering Calculations: Structural stress analysis, motor/gearbox sizing, and chain selection calculations. Complete BOM: Itemized Bill of Materials with off-the-shelf component specs and sourcing links. Technical Dossier: Basic assembly and safety instructions. Collaboration & Prototype Support: The selected candidate will be required to collaborate closely with our engineering/manufacturing team during the prototype fabrication phase to provide technical support, answer design questions, and adjust the design if manufacturing constraints arise. Requirements: Proven experience in machine design, lifting equipment, or structural engineering. Strong skills in 3D CAD, FEA analysis, and knowledge of safety standards for lifting platforms.
