Mechanical Prototype Design & 3D Modeling
hr INR 1250–2500
About the project
My consumer-focused product is already defined functionally and is now entering the prototype development phase. I still need strong front-end creative work to tighten the concept before we build anything physical. The immediate goals are: • Sketching and ideation – translate my rough notes into clear, professional concept sketches that explore aesthetics, ergonomics, and basic part breakdown. • 3D modeling – build a detailed, manufacturable CAD model from the approved sketch, ready for rapid prototyping (STL/STEP/SolidWorks formats preferred). I will provide hand sketches, reference images, and key dimensional targets on kickoff. From you I expect iterative updates, short video screen-shares when needed, and final files organized so a prototype shop can run with them. If you also have insight into material trade-offs or lightweight DFM suggestions, that would be a welcome bonus but not compulsory. Acceptance criteria: 1. Two to three refined concept boards signed off by me. 2. Fully parametric 3D model and exploded view. 3. STL and STEP export verified for 3D printability (no non-manifold edges). 4. A brief build note explaining assembly and tolerances. Timeline is flexible within two weeks, but momentum and clear communication are important.
