3D Animated Card Game App

About the project

I want to launch a full-feature collectible card game for both Android and iPhone that feels alive in the player’s hands. Every card must be fully modelled and animated in 3D, not just flat sprites with simple flips. Think dynamic idle poses, attack sequences and special effects that pop when the user taps or drags. The entire interface has to follow a fantasy theme—rich colours, ornate frames, glowing buttons—yet remain intuitive so players can swipe, pinch and tap through decks, battlefields and menus without friction. Responsive touch gestures are essential: dragging cards onto the board, zooming to inspect stats, and flicking through the collection must feel silky-smooth at 60 fps. Core gameplay revolves around real-time online duels. I need matchmaking, ranked and casual queues, friend challenges and a lobby chat. A solid, scalable backend (Photon, Mirror, Firebase + Cloud Functions, or a similar solution you prefer) should handle concurrency and minimise latency. AI opponents can wait for a later phase; the current milestone is purely player-versus-player. Unity or Unreal Engine is fine as long as the final builds run equally well on mid-range Android phones and recent iPhones. Optimisation for mobile GPUs, efficient asset bundling and platform-specific controls are part of the job. Deliverables • Playable APK and iOS build (TestFlight) with at least one starter deck, functional matchmaking and three 3D-animated card models • Source project with readable, well-commented code and all art assets • Short setup guide so my team can compile future updates I will handle music and lore later; your focus for this phase is gameplay loop, networking and the wow factor of those animated cards.
