About the project

I have a mechanical concept that now needs to move from idea to manufacturable reality. Your role will be to refine the design, build the complete 3D CAD model, generate fully-dimensioned technical drawings, and, where beneficial, run basic FEA or CFD simulations to prove the design before we commit to tooling or prototypes. The workflow I have in mind is straightforward: • Collaborative concept refinement and quick sketches to lock the architecture. • Detailed modelling in SolidWorks—or an equivalent mainstream platform—so files transfer easily to vendors. • Iterative reviews to balance function, cost, and ease of assembly. • Final package that includes native CAD files, STEP/IGES exports, fabrication drawings with tolerances and BOM, plus a short simulation summary if analysis was performed. Please tell me a little about similar projects you have taken from concept to prototype, which CAD and analysis tools you prefer, and your typical turnaround time for design iterations. If you have access to rapid prototyping or supplier networks, feel free to mention it; that could become a separate follow-on task. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right partner who can keep communication clear and progress transparent.
