About the project

I need a fully-defined SolidWorks model and drawing package for a forming die that will hot-bend a shovel blade at about 850 °C. The geometry must exactly match my shovel profile and include all critical dimensions, GD&T call-outs, and clearances so the die can be machined without guesswork. The working material is A2 Tool Steel, so please size radii, draft, fillets, and reliefs with that alloy’s heat-resistance and hardening behaviour in mind. I will supply the basic shovel outline and target bend angle; you translate that into a two-piece die (punch and cavity) complete with backing plates, bolt patterns, and any ejector or alignment features you recommend. Deliverables • Native SolidWorks 3D files (.sldprt / .sldasm) for every component • Fully-dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings showing tolerances and surface finishes • Exploded view and simple assembly instructions (PDF) • A STEP file of the complete assembly for CNC import Acceptance criteria: all dimensions present, tolerances readable at print size, mating faces coincide in SolidWorks interference check, and files open error-free in SolidWorks 2021 or newer. If you have questions about the shovel profile or press tonnage, let me know early so we can lock the design quickly.
