Small-Dog Walking Harness Design
CAD 250–750
About the project
I'm looking for an experienced sewing professional who can fabricate a sturdy, comfortable pet harness. The finished piece should have clean, reinforced seams and hardware strong enough for daily walks. I have design notes, a labeled sketch, and my dog's measurements, but not a finalized sewing pattern — please include pattern-making in your quote. Once we agree on fabric and webbing choices, I'd like a single prototype first, then a short run to test consistency. Anchor size (my dog): neck ~14½″ (37 cm), chest girth ~17″ (43 cm). Closure for this prototype is a standard side-release buckle I'll supply; a custom latch housing (3D-printed) will be integrated — I'll provide it. Please let me know your turnaround time for the sample, the equipment you'll use (an industrial machine capable of handling multiple layers is ideal), and any previous work you've done with pet accessories or similar load-bearing items. High attention to detail and reliability with sizing are essential, as the harness must fit precisely and withstand regular pulling without fraying or distortion.
