AutoCAD-to-Revit Linework Conversion

About the project

I have a 2D AutoCAD drawing that needs to live inside Revit as pure linework—no 3D elements or modeling. After importing and cleaning up the original plan, duplicate it within the same .rvt file and modify that copy to show a different layout. Both versions must remain in one project, clearly named so I can switch between them easily. Default Revit settings are fine; please keep everything as a simple line drawing with no extra annotations or notes. Accuracy to the original CAD geometry is important, so line weights, layers, and scale should transfer cleanly. Deliverables: • One Revit (.rvt) file containing the current layout and the alternative layout as separate views or sheets, each properly labeled. • All work saved in a recent Revit version compatible with 2022 or later. Once finished, send the file and a brief note confirming which view or sheet shows each layout.
