Job Description Template Job Title: Bank & Financial Liaison Officer Company: Woodbery Farms LLP Location: Aluva, Ernakulam, Kerala Job Type: Full-time / Contractual About the Role: Woodbery Farms LLP is seeking an experienced Bank & Financial Liaison Officer to manage our relationships with financial institutions, government bodies, and subsidy channels. This role is critical in securing project financing, working capital, and government subsidies for our expanding estate operations and agritech infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Banking Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact between Woodbery Farms LLP and public/private sector banks, NBFCs, and cooperative banks. • Loan & Credit Management: Prepare, submit, and track Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and documentation for agricultural term loans, working capital limits, and crop loans (KCC). • Scheme & Subsidy Maximization: Identify and secure central and state government schemes, particularly through NABARD, the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF), and the Kerala State Agriculture Department. • Tech-Infrastructure Funding: Facilitate specialized financing for advanced agritech implementations, including AI-supported irrigation, electrification, and drone monitoring infrastructure. • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all loan covenants, post-disbursement compliance, and financial reporting requirements are strictly met to maintain excellent credit standing. • Negotiation: Negotiate favorable interest rates, processing fees, and collateral requirements for new and existing facilities. Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Agribusiness. • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in agricultural credit, banking operations, or project finance (Recently retired bank managers or Agri-Credit Officers are highly encouraged to apply). • Deep understanding of RBI guidelines on priority sector lending (agriculture) and NABARD refinancing schemes. • Proven track record of successfully closing multi-crore agricultural or plantation project loans. • Strong financial modeling skills for creating realistic cash flow projections for long-term plantation crops (e.g., a 5-year turnaround plan for abandoned estates). • Fluency in English and Malayalam is mandatory.
