About the project
I need a complete, ready-to-manufacture steel cylinder and piston assembly designed, documented, and packaged for straightforward production. The core deliverables are the 3D CAD models, fully dimensioned 2D drawings, and a concise bill of materials that calls out grade, heat treatment, and surface-finish requirements suited to high-pressure, high-temperature duty. I will validate the work by opening the STEP files, reviewing the tolerance stack in the drawings, and running interference checks, so please keep assemblies clean, fully constrained, and free of suppressed parts. Any finite-element stress or thermal simulations that support material and wall-thickness choices are a welcome plus. To speed procurement, include machining notes (bore finish, honing pattern, recommended hard-chrome or nitriding process if you use either) and a short quality-control checklist I can hand straight to the shop floor. Deliver all files in native CAD format as well as STEP/IGES and PDF for downstream teams. The project is considered complete when: • All models and drawings open error-free. • Critical dimensions and tolerances are annotated. • Material and treatment specs are documented. • A brief assembly guide confirms piston-to-cylinder clearance and ring placement.
