About the project
Project Title: 3D CAD / Industrial Designer Needed for Molded Pulp Bottle Packaging (.STP File) Project Overview: I am launching a sustainable D2C beverage brand. I need an experienced industrial designer to create a 3D CAD model of our custom outer bottle shell. This is a hybrid bottle. The outer shell will be manufactured using "Thermoformed Molded Pulp" (Hot Press). Inside this hard pulp shell, we will place a standard flexible 330ml liquid spout pouch. I only need you to design the rigid 2-piece outer pulp shell. Technical Specifications & Requirements: Dimensions: Approximately 170mm (Height) x 62mm (Diameter). Sleek profile. Structure: It must be a 2-piece vertical clamshell (a Left half and a Right half that fit seamlessly together). Neck Fitment: The top of the shell must have an opening designed to secure a standard 28mm PCO spout (so the inner pouch spout can poke through and a cap can be screwed on). Design for Manufacturing (DFM): Because this is being manufactured via thermoformed molded pulp, the design MUST include uniform wall thickness (approx. 2mm) and correct draft angles (3 to 5 degrees) for easy mold release. Branding: The brand name "FLUIDA" must be debossed (indented) vertically down the side of the shell. Reference Material: I have attached a high-res 2D concept render of exactly what the final bottle should look like. Final Deliverables Required: Parametric 3D CAD source file (SolidWorks, Fusion360, etc.) A high-quality .STP (STEP) file ready to be sent to our tooling manufacturer for the mold. Basic 3D PDF or renders showing the two halves.
