Modern Teak Sofa-Bed 3D Model

About the project

I need a precise 3D model of a wooden sofa that converts smoothly into a bed, designed for everyday home use. The look must stay firmly in the modern camp—clean lines, minimal ornamentation—while conveying the warm character of natural teak rendered in a matte finish. What matters most to me is functional realism. Every panel, joint and hinge should be present so the piece can move in the model exactly as it will in real life. If you usually work in SketchUp, Fusion 360, SolidWorks or a comparable package, feel free to use whichever you prefer as long as you can also export a standard format (OBJ or FBX) for review. Deliverables • Native work file with fully articulated mechanism • OBJ or FBX export • 2–3 high-resolution still renders showing sofa and bed positions Acceptance criteria • All parts sized correctly to the dimensions I’ll supply once we start • Material assigned as teak wood with a matte surface finish • Conversion sequence works without parts colliding If you have recent examples of convertible furniture models, a quick link or screenshot will help me gauge fit.
