About the project

The project is a compact, bipedal humanoid that will rely on a PA-CF 3D-printed chassis and 21 actuators. I need a complete mechanical design package created exclusively in Fusion 360, ready for immediate prototyping and eventual low-volume production. Scope of work – Model the entire skeleton, shell and joint architecture so every component is ready for direct PA-CF printing without post-machining. – Integrate 21 actuators (servo or BLDC) with realistic torque, weight and envelope constraints; include mounts, brackets, gear trains or harmonic drives where necessary. – Optimise wall thicknesses, ribs and lattice infill for strength-to-weight, thermal dissipation and print time. – Plan fasteners, cable routing and access points to keep the robot serviceable. – Apply DFM/DFAM principles throughout, detailing print orientation, support strategy and critical tolerances. Deliverables • Native Fusion 360 file set (components, assemblies, motion study) • Exported STEP and STL files for every part ready for slicing • 2D fabrication drawings with critical dimensions and tolerances • Assembly drawings, exploded views and labelled BOM • Brief DFM report summarising print settings, material usage and post-processing notes Acceptance criteria A design review in Fusion 360 using the web viewer will confirm fit, actuator clearances, weight targets and printability on a 300 × 300 × 400 mm build volume before final sign-off.
