About the project

3D CAD Designer / Mechanical Product Modeler – Prototype Phase (Bone Conduction Device) I’m looking for an Australian‑based mechanical/CAD designer to create a prototype‑ready 3D model for a small wearable haptic device. I will provide AI renders, functional descriptions, and clear guidance on the geometry. The device uses a single‑pad bone‑conduction vibration interface, so the internal layout must support vibration transfer, not dampening. If you’ve worked on small electronics housings, wearables, haptics, or silicone‑interface products, this will be familiar. This project is prototype‑only (no manufacturing prep). You’ll be modelling a compact enclosure, motor cavity, silicone interface pad, and basic internal supports suitable for 3D printing and silicone casting. Deliverables: • Full 3D CAD model (STEP + STL) • Simple 3‑view drawing set (front, side, cross‑section) Requirements: • Must be based in Australia • Experience with small consumer products, wearables, or vibration/haptic devices • Comfortable designing around vibration transfer and silicone interfaces • Clean, watertight geometry suitable for prototyping • Fast, clear communication Full brief and AI renders provided after NDA.
