About the project
I have an antique European teapot that is actually closer to a small Russian samovar, and I’d like an exact, working replica produced. I will supply reference photos, key measurements, and a short video so you can capture every curve, spout angle, and handle detail. The shape and silhouette must follow the classic Russian samovar profile— bulbous body, chimney, and tap— while staying faithful to the original proportions. I’m still weighing whether brass, copper, or stainless steel will give the best blend of authenticity, food-safe practicality, and ease of upkeep, so your advice on material selection will be appreciated. Aesthetic finishing is also open for discussion: I’m attracted to traditional hand-engraving or enamel work yet could be convinced to keep it plain and highly polished if that better respects the reference piece. Feel free to recommend viable embellishment techniques along with cost or timeline implications.
