About the project

Looking for an experienced 3D CAD designer/toy engineer to turn a 115mm chibi concept sheet into print-ready 3D files. Prototyping via SLA resin printing, but engineered for future injection molding. Key Requirements: Scale & Style: 115 mm total height, cute/chibi proportions. Articulation: Durable ball joints at shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and neck (no waist split). Modular Head System: 2 face expressions (recessed under-chin release) and 2 hairstyles with hidden mounts. Accessory Ready: Subtle micro-peg/magnet slots under hair and upper back, standardized hand grips, detachable feet, and slim body clearance for fabric clothing. DFM Specs: Proper draft angles, uniform wall thickness, and 0.15mm–0.2mm tolerance offsets for ABS-like resin. Deliverables & Handoff: Editable CAD source files (STEP/Assembly) + individual print-ready STLs. Full commercial rights transfer. Split across 3 milestones (Base model/joints -> Mechanics/STLs -> Post-print tolerance tweaks). Please share portfolio links showing articulated figures or toy engineering when applying.
