3D Realistic Modelling of Products

About the project

I'm looking for a 3D artist to model real-world products from photos. The models need proper textures, clean UV unwraps and clean topology, so that I can easily swap materials on them later. This is ongoing work. Sometimes the projects will be simple objects, other times complex pieces such as beds with several different materials. In every case, the details need to be reproduced accurately. To start, please quote two example projects (photos attached): 1. Washbasin made of porcelain stoneware tiles Model it as it looks in the photos. Pay special attention to the grout lines in the corners and to the tile material. Some surfaces will be matte, others polished. 2. Stair tread The grooves cut into the surface are recessed by about 2-3 mm. The standard size is 120 x 30 cm, usually 8 mm thick, but this varies, so the model should keep roughly correct proportions and be easy to adjust. As with tiles in general, the material also varies: structured, polished, matte. The surface finish must be selectable. Polished surfaces must have a natural-looking reflection, and all tiles must have a uniform colour. Requirements: - Accurate modelling from reference photos - Clean topology and proper UV unwraps - Materials that are easy to swap (matte / polished / structured finishes) - Realistic reflections on polished surfaces - Compatibility with my setup: I light scenes with a white HDRI, and I handle reflections in the node setup as a second HDRI In your proposal, please include: 1. Your experience with this kind of work (portfolio examples are essential). 2. Whether you feel confident handling it. 3. A preliminary quote for the two projects above. 4. Optionally, your rate for one month of full-time work.
