About the project
I am modifying a lamp design to help a visually impaired friend. The goal is to adapt an existing lamp design to fit a 3.7-volt battery, a USB-C charging module (TP-4056), and three LED modules. I have the original .stl files and can provide them upon request. Key Requirements: 1. Adjust the lamp base to: - Fit an 18650-type battery securely. - Include a holder for the TP-4056 charging module, ensuring it stays in place when plugging in the USB-C cable. - Add a hole on the side of the base for USB-C cable access. 2. Modify the lamp shade interior to: - Mount one to three 33mm diameter LED modules securely. - Close off the top of the shade, leaving only a small hole for wires (3mm diameter). Dimensions of New Components: - Battery Holder: 76mm x 21mm x 22mm - TP-4056 Module: 27.2mm x 20.3mm x 4.3mm - LED Modules: Diameter 33mm The base pieces should maintain their snap-fit feature for easy assembly. Ideal Skills: Experience with 3D modeling, .stl file modifications, and designing for 3D printing.
