Beam-Column Steel Connector CAD Design
USD 30–250
About the project
I need a structural-savvy CAD professional to turn my written specifications into a complete beam to beam steel connector design. I will share the connection criteria and performance requirements; your task is to translate those notes into a fully detailed CAD model that includes every critical dimension and the associated tolerances so a fabricator can work straight from your files. the connector design is based on the Simpson HCA7.12-5 Scope • Model a single beam-to-column connector in CAD (your preferred platform is fine as long as you can deliver both the native file and a neutral format such as STEP or DWG). • Apply the dimensions and tolerances exactly as called out in the specs I provide. • Present the connector so that a checker can verify fit-up and a workshop can cut, drill, and weld without further interpretation. Deliverables 1. 3D CAD model of the connector. 2. 2D fabrication drawing with full dimensioning and tolerance notes. 3. Short design note or screenshot set that shows how you have interpreted each item in my specification. Acceptance The job is complete when the files open cleanly, the dimensions match the supplied specification sheet, and the drawing is ready for a fabrication sign-off.
