About the project

I have a set of custom-designed steel brackets that need a thorough static analysis focused specifically on material strength. I will provide the 3D CAD files and loading scenarios; what I need back is a clear, engineering-grade validation that the brackets will withstand those loads with an acceptable safety factor. The job involves importing the geometry, applying the prescribed boundary conditions and loads, running the linear static study, and interpreting the results. A solid understanding of steel material properties and failure criteria is essential, as I expect insight into stress concentrations and any regions that approach yield. Deliverables • Finite Element Analysis report (PDF) detailing setup, mesh quality, assumptions, and results • High-resolution visuals of stress/strain and displacement plots • Table summarising maximum von Mises stress, safety factor, and recommended design tweaks if required • Native solver files (e.g., ANSYS Workbench, SolidWorks Simulation, or equivalent) so I can reproduce the study if needed I value concise, well-explained findings over lengthy boilerplate, so please tailor the report to the bracket’s real-world use and keep technical jargon purposeful.
