About the project

I am looking for an experienced interior designer to design a compact master washroom along with the adjoining walk-in wardrobe/dressing area. Space Details Washroom: 1.686 m × 2.700 m (approx. 5'-6" × 9'-0") Walk-in Wardrobe / Dressing: 1.686 m × 2.470 m (approx. 5'-6" × 8'-0") The architectural layout, electrical drawings and false-ceiling design are already available and will be provided to the selected designer. Scope of Work The requirement is for interior design, visualization and detailed design specifications for the space. The designer will be expected to: Develop the overall interior design concept Create a premium, cohesive look for the washroom and dressing area Select/specify tiles, wall finishes, colours and materials Design the vanity and mirror arrangement Design the wardrobe/storage and dressing area Design the dresser/mirror area Suggest sanitaryware, CP fittings and visible accessories Develop the lighting/ambience in coordination with the existing electrical layout Provide realistic, high-quality 3D renders Provide relevant elevations/design views Coordinate the design with the existing architectural and electrical drawings Detailed Design Specifications Required The designer should provide sufficient detail/specification for the design to be clearly understood and executed later. This should include, as applicable: Tiling Exact tile selection and combinations Floor and wall tile specifications Tile size, finish and recommended laying pattern Tile layout/alignment Starting points and visual alignment of tiles Tile joint/grout recommendations Identification of feature/accent areas Floor slope/drain considerations Shower-area tile treatment Any required tile cutting/edge treatment recommendations Vanity & Mirror Vanity design and dimensions Countertop material and thickness Basin type and positioning Vanity storage configuration Mirror dimensions and exact placement Mirror height relative to vanity/counter Mirror lighting design/positioning Wall treatment around the vanity Coordination with electrical points Wardrobe / Dressing Overall wardrobe dimensions and configuration Shutter design and material Internal storage planning Hanging/drawer/shelf requirements Finish/material specifications Handles/profile details Dresser design and dimensions Mirror size and placement Lighting integration Ceiling & Lighting Review of the existing false-ceiling design Modifications to the ceiling design if required by the final interior concept Light type, placement and intended effect Coordination with existing electrical points Existing Drawings The following are already available: Architectural/layout plan Electrical layout False-ceiling design The existing drawings should generally be retained. The designer may recommend minor modifications where necessary to achieve the final design, particularly for ceiling, lighting, vanity, mirror or other interior elements. Expected Deliverables Overall interior design concept Material and colour palette Tile selection and detailed tile layout/specification Vanity design and specifications Mirror design, dimensions and placement Wardrobe/dressing design and specifications Dresser design Sanitaryware and fitting recommendations Lighting recommendations and coordination Ceiling refinement, if required Relevant wall elevations/design views High-quality photorealistic 3D renders from multiple useful viewpoints Dimensioned design details/specifications sufficient to communicate the intended design clearly Final coordinated design package in PDF format Important This is not an architectural planning project and does not require a complete redesign of the existing layout. The basic layout, electrical plan and false-ceiling design are already available. I am also not looking for only 3D renders. The designer should be able to translate the visual design into specific, measurable design decisions — such as tile layout, tile alignment, vanity dimensions, mirror size/height, material specifications, wardrobe dimensions, lighting positions, etc. The focus is on creating a premium, practical and cohesive design that can subsequently be taken forward for execution.
