Minimalist Silicone Half-Mask Concept
EUR 250–750
About the project
I’m developing a sleek, low-profile half-mask molded from medical-grade silicone and need a complete product design ready for prototyping. The core requirement is a clean, matte finish shell offered in a range of bold, bright colours, paired with an unobtrusive adjustable strap system for a snug, comfortable fit. At this stage I’m intentionally keeping the feature set minimal, so please focus on ergonomics, strap integration, and overall aesthetics; elements like replaceable filters or vent assemblies can be explored later but are not part of this initial scope. What I’m looking for: • Detailed 3D CAD model (STEP or SolidWorks format) optimised for silicone injection-moulding • High-resolution renders showing front, side, and worn perspectives, plus a short animation or exploded view that explains how the strap mechanism anchors to the mask body • A concise specification sheet covering material thicknesses, shore hardness targets, strap material call-outs, and recommended bright colour swatches (with Pantone references) Acceptance criteria: the mask must sit below the cheekbones without obstructing peripheral vision, demonstrate even wall thickness for consistent moulding, and allow quick strap length adjustments while maintaining the smooth, uninterrupted matte surface. If you regularly work in tools like SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Rhino and have experience with soft-touch wearables, you’ll be able to move quickly on this brief. I’m ready to review early concept sketches as soon as you’re happy with the basic geometry, then iterate toward a final, mould-ready file set.
