About the project

Description: We're looking for experienced Unreal Engine C++ developers to add features to existing single-player games, including a racing sim, a real-time strategy game, a sci-fi immersive sim, a shooter and a 3D fighting game. Some animation and effects tasks use a standalone project instead. What you need Working experience with Unreal Engine and C++, plus what your track needs: Game mechanics: actors, components, subsystems, input and UMG; reading an unfamiliar codebase; spotting code that compiles but behaves wrong (tick order, wrong frame, stale state). Animation and visual effects: at least one of the animation system (montages, blend spaces, root motion, Control Rig), Niagara, materials or HLSL shaders, or Chaos physics; an eye for effects that read wrong in motion; awareness of performance (pooling, budgets, GPU cost). A computer that can build and run an Unreal Engine 5.8 project. Amount There are no limits to the number of implementations that can be completed. As soon as you finish one implementation, there will be another one available within a 4-day period. We expect you to start immediately. Length: Tasks average 8–12 hours and are scoped to one working day
