About the project

I have data for a Ferrari F40 (link below) and I need it transformed and sometimes modified into clean, fully parametric CAD surfaces suitable for rapid prototyping or CNC milling. All exterior body panels and key interior components must be recreated with accurate surfacing, proper curvature continuity, and watertight geometry. Source scan: https://3dmodels.org/3d-models/ferrari-f40-with-hq-interior-and-engine-1987/ You may work in Alias, ICEM, CATIA, NX, SolidWorks—or any comparable surface-modelling package—so long as the final delivery includes native files plus STEP/IGES exports. Deliverables • Exterior body panel CAD files • Interior component CAD files (dash, seats, console, etc.) • STEP and IGES assemblies ready for CNC or 3-D print prototyping • Brief report noting tolerances, file hierarchy, and any areas needing further data Acceptance criteria • Surfaces must hold G2 continuity where the original design requires it • Deviation from the supplied mesh not to exceed ±0.25 mm over any 100 mm span • All files open error-free in SolidWorks 2023 and CATIA V5 If portions of the scan are noisy or missing, flag them clearly so I can arrange rescans. I’m looking to move quickly once we agree on milestones and file formats.
