We’re Hiring: IT Engineers – E-commerce Automation Tools (Japan Market) We are looking for talented IT Engineers (Backend / Automation / Full-stack) to join our team in developing automated purchasing tools for major Japanese e-commerce platforms, including: • Bic Camera • Yodobashi Camera • Rakuten • Apple Japan • Joshin • Edion • Toys“R”Us Japan • Fullcomp • Happinet • KS Denki • Fujifilm Mall • Premium Bandai Job Description • Analyze website structure, user flows (login, cart, checkout, payment) of Japanese e-commerce sites. • Design, develop, and maintain automation tools/scripts for product monitoring, order placement, and payment processing. • Handle anti-bot protections (CAPTCHA, rate limiting, browser fingerprinting, 3D Secure, SMS verification, etc.). • Optimize system performance, stability, and scalability. • Continuously research and adapt to website changes and new security measures. • Collaborate with the team to ensure tools operate in compliance with applicable laws and each platform’s Terms of Service. Mandatory Requirements • Solid hands-on experience with web automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Puppeteer, or equivalent). • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python / Node.js / Go. • Strong understanding of reverse engineering websites, analyzing network requests, cookies, sessions, and headers. • Experience dealing with CAPTCHA systems (reCAPTCHA, hCaptcha, Cloudflare Turnstile, etc.) and anti-bot solutions (Akamai, Cloudflare, etc.). • Knowledge of online payment flows (credit cards + 3D Secure, PayPay, Rakuten Pay, etc.). • Strong logical thinking, ability to work under pressure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience building tools/bots for Japanese e-commerce sites or high-security platforms. • Experience with proxies, residential IPs, and fingerprint browsers. • Japanese language skills (ability to read technical documentation / Terms of Service). • Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring.
