Heritage Building 3D LiDAR BIM Model
USD 250–750
About the project
I have a heritage shop-lot that must be captured and translated into an accurate Building Information Model. The goal is a single, clash-free BIM that reflects the structure, interior finishes and the complete mechanical layout, suitable for conservation engineering and refurbishment planning. Scope • On-site data capture with terrestrial LiDAR scanning and high-resolution photogrammetry. • Clean, register and geo-reference the point cloud. • Convert the cloud into a coordinated BIM (Revit or Archicad is fine; IFC export mandatory). • Model every structural element, interior surface and MEP run exactly as found; no generic placeholders. • Provide colour-corrected orthophotos for façades to assist the heritage team. Deliverables 1. Raw and registered point-cloud files (.e57 or .rcs). 2. Native BIM file + federated IFC. 3. Orthophoto elevations (TIFF + PDF). 4. Brief report describing scan settings, control points and modelling assumptions. Acceptance criteria • Dimensional deviation not exceeding ±5 mm across the scan area. • All rooms, beams, columns, rafters, pipes, ducts and equipment present in both plan and section views. • Model opens error-free and passes a basic clash detection in Navisworks. Please indicate the equipment you plan to use (scanner model, software pipeline) and the anticipated field-to-finish timeline.
