About the project
I’m ready to build upward by adding a second-storey space above a small existing sunroom. The entire footprint of that sunroom will become a brand-new full bathroom paired with a generous walk-in closet. Here’s what I need from you: • Structural and architectural plans that show how the new floor ties safely into the current roofline, walls, and foundation. • Interior layouts that maximise the limited square footage while still giving me a comfortable bathroom flow and a true walk-in closet (not just reach-in shelving). • Rough plumbing, electrical, and HVAC schematics so the bathroom’s drainage, venting, and climate control are code-compliant and ready for permits. • Material and fixture call-outs I can hand straight to a contractor. I already know the function—bathroom plus closet—so I’m looking for creative space-planning ideas, realistic 3D views or elevations, and construction-ready drawings that pass local inspection without revisions. If you’ve designed vertical additions before, especially over small footprints, your expertise will help me avoid surprises during framing and keep the project timeline compact. Please tell me how you’ll tackle the structural analysis, which software you’ll draft in (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.), and how many rounds of revisions are included until the plan is permit-ready.
