Mechanical Component 3D Modeling
INR 12500–37500
About the project
I need a precise 3-dimensional model of a single mechanical component. You will be working in your preferred 3D-modeling environment; the finished part only has to import cleanly into common CAD tools such as AutoCAD or CATIA because that is where it will ultimately sit in a larger assembly. You will start from an existing 3D model that I will supply as reference. It captures the overall geometry but lacks the accuracy, feature history, and GD&T call-outs required for manufacturing, which is where your expertise comes in. The model must be fully parametric, organised in a logical feature tree, and ready for downstream operations like FEA and CAM. Critical fits, tolerances, and surface finishes will be annotated directly on the drawing views so a machinist can cut chips without guessing. Deliverables • Native CAD file (SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar) • Neutral formats: STEP and IGES • PDF drawing with complete GD&T To confirm everything lines up, I will run the model through my standard check: import-without-errors, regenerate-without-warnings, and dimensional spot-check against the reference. Once those three items pass, the milestone is cleared.
