Mechanical 3D CAD Modeling & DFM for Small Consumer/Trade Device Enclosure Project Overview: I am seeking an experienced mechanical or industrial product designer proficient in [SolidWorks / Fusion 360] to create a production-ready 3D CAD model and STEP files for a compact plastic/composite device enclosure and protective guard component. The project requires translating concept sketches and basic dimensional constraints into clean, parametric 3D models optimized for manufacturing (Design for Manufacture / DFM), specifically considering [injection molding / CNC machining]. Key Deliverables: 3D parametric part files (Source files such as .sldprt or .f3d, plus universal CAD formats like .step and .iges). Basic assembly modeling (if multi-part component). Consideration of wall thickness, draft angles, and snap-fits/tolerances for manufacturing. Requirements & Experience: Proven experience in mechanical design and plastic enclosure development. Strong portfolio demonstrating past consumer product or hardware design. Ability to sign a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to project commencement. To Apply, Please Provide: 1.
