About the project
I am seeking an experienced product designer to create ergonomic and accurate 3D CAD models for "Aftix" protective ear guards, designed for post-operative or athletic use. The deliverables include fully editable source files optimized for wearable fit, universal formats like STEP and IGES for manufacturing, dimensioned 2D technical drawings, and photorealistic concept renders. The goal is to develop production-ready files suitable for prototyping, silicone/plastic injection molding, or 3D printing. Key Deliverables: - Editable 3D CAD models in SolidWorks/Fusion 360/Rhino - Universal formats: STEP, IGES, STL - Dimensioned 2D technical drawings - Photorealistic concept renders Additional Preferences: Materials: Lightweight, medical-grade, and skin-safe flexible polymers/silicone with comfortable padding to ensure no friction or irritation during post-operative recovery. Design Style: Ergonomic, low-profile, and secure contouring that gently fits around the ear structure with reliable fastening/strap attachment points. References: Custom 3D CAD modeling based on ergonomic ear protection requirements for post-op healing. Timeline: - Initial concept sketch draft: 3–4 days - Final revisions and file delivery: Within 1 week
