Mechanical Design Engineer Needed: Redesign & Create Fabrication Drawings for a 7m Gasifier

About the project

Project Description: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer or Vessel Designer to redesign an existing Gasifier and deliver a complete set of detailed fabrication drawings. Current Status & Input Data: We already have the complete General Arrangement (GA) design of the original Gasifier. The original design stands at a height of 14 meters. Your Scope of Work: Redesign & Scale Down: Modify and optimize the existing GA design to reduce the total height from 14 meters to 7 meters, ensuring all functional, structural, and process requirements are adapted correctly for the new height. New 3D Model/GA Drawings: Create the updated 3D model and revised General Arrangement drawings for the 7m version. Detailed Fabrication Drawings: Deliver a comprehensive set of manufacturing/shop drawings. This must include bill of materials (BOM), detailed dimensions, welding symbols, material specifications, and sectional views required for flawless workshop fabrication. Requirements / Skills Needed: Proven experience in industrial equipment design, pressure vessels, or gasifier/furnace systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar industry-standard 3D/2D CAD software. Strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding standards, and manufacturing tolerances. Ability to deliver clean, professional, and easy-to-read shop drawings. Deliverables: Source CAD files (3D Model & 2D Drawings). Production-ready Autocad & PDF copies of all fabrication drawings. Complete Bill of Materials (BOM).
