About the project
I’m seeking an experienced, qualified and registered architect to take a medium-scale townhouse in Sydney from concept through to council approval. The brief is for a clean, Modern aesthetic and every drawing must be suitable for Development Application and, complies with local council development control guidelines. Here’s what I need you to handle: • Design & drafting – concept sketches, spatial planning, 3D visuals if helpful, and a full set of detailed drawings right through to construction documentation. • Permit & approval management – preparation of the DA/CC package, any other design related document needed by council until the consent is issued. Acceptance criteria: • All plans produced in Revit, ArchiCAD or AutoCAD and supplied as both editable files in CAD and PDFs. • Drawings must comply with the BCA/NCC, SEPP codes and local DCP/LEP controls. • A minimum of two similar Sydney-based projects in your portfolio that proceeded to approval. • Clear turnaround times for each milestone and prompt responses to council RFIs. If you’re comfortable navigating Sydney councils, have solid DA runs on the board, and can showcase recent modern residential work, I’d like to hear how you’d approach this project and see relevant samples.
