About the project

I’m completing on a 54.6 m² (588 sq ft) one-bed new-build in London and want to turn the blank canvas into a warm, organic-modern home with boutique-hotel flair. The kitchen, bathroom and built-in wardrobe are fixed, but everything else is open for creative direction. The priority is creating a home that feels cohesive, functional and luxurious while making the most of every square metre. Scope • Living room: full layout, furniture selection, feature lighting and styling to feel high-end yet relaxed. • Bedroom: smart use of space around a slanted wall, bespoke headboard or storage ideas, layered textures, and that same boutique luxury mood. • Bathroom: styling only (no renovation), using lighting, accessories, mirrors and décor to create a spa-like atmosphere. • Balcony: suggestions for furniture, planting and lighting to create an inviting outdoor extension of the living space. Design Intent Think warm neutrals, rich walnut, touches of olive green and subtle brass—comfortable, timeless and sophisticated rather than stark minimalist. I value thoughtful lighting design, layered textures and furniture that is appropriately scaled to the apartment, rather than simply filling the space. Assets I'll Provide Detailed floor plans, exact dimensions, developer specs and reference photos of looks I love. What I Need From You • Optimised floor-plan options addressing traffic flow and the awkward angled wall • Furniture layouts drawn accurately to scale • Mood boards that capture the colour palette and materials • 3D visualisations or styled elevations so I can picture the end result • A shoppable specification list (UK /EU sources preferred), including furniture, lighting, rugs, art and soft furnishings • Guidance on finishes, paint schedules and any custom joinery details • Installation notes so I can brief trades or use you further for procurement Please ensure all proposed furniture is realistic for the dimensions provided—I don't want concept renders that couldn't physically fit within the apartment. Ideal Experience Experience designing apartments under 60 m² is highly desirable. Please include examples of similar projects in your portfolio. I’m happy to collaborate online.
