About the project

I’m updating my home to a clean, contemporary look and need a modern-minded designer to refine both the interior concept and the lighting scheme—especially subtle, hidden illumination. Scope • Living Room: Conceal light sources in coves, shelves, or architectural details to create a warm, layered ambience without visible fixtures. • Kitchen: Integrate under-cabinet strips, toe-kick accents, and ceiling recesses that complement sleek cabinetry and task areas. What I expect • A scaled floor/ceiling plan showing fixture locations, circuits, and switching logic. • Mood boards or quick 3D visuals that illustrate the glow, colour temperature, and beam spread you’re proposing. • A concise specification sheet (lamp type, wattage/LED strip, profile model, dimming method) so I can price and source locally. • One round of refinements after my feedback. If you have experience blending modern interiors with invisible light sources—and can communicate ideas clearly in drawings or renders—I’d love to see samples of similar work and hear how you’d approach these two spaces.
