Looking for an experienced Data Analyst with strong Excel skills to build a comprehensive reporting solution that combines product usage data with Salesforce account and billing data into a single, reliable source of truth. The objective of this project is to develop a structured, account-level Excel report that provides clear visibility into customer adoption, engagement trends, and cancellation patterns over time. The freelancer will be responsible for consolidating multiple Excel datasets, including usage data, question-and-answer activity, and Salesforce extracts, using Account ID as the primary key. This will involve significant data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure consistency across sources, including handling duplicate records, unmatched IDs, and missing values. The final output should include a well-structured master dataset with one row per account, enriched with usage metrics, engagement indicators such as last login date, lifecycle milestones (billing start, cancellation, billing close), product information, and relevant commercial fields. In addition to data preparation, the freelancer will develop an Excel-based reporting framework that includes monthly usage trends, engagement analysis, and account segmentation. The report should clearly highlight differences between active and cancelled accounts, identify patterns in usage leading up to cancellation, and surface accounts with low or declining activity that may require follow-up. The analysis should also include a breakdown of performance by product or SKU, along with a high-level view of customer behavior based on question activity where applicable. The final deliverable should be a clean, user-friendly Excel report or dashboard (using Pivot Tables, Power Query, and/or Power Pivot) that can be easily refreshed and used by business stakeholders for ongoing monitoring. The focus of this project is descriptive analytics and business insights, not predictive modeling, so the emphasis should be on clarity, accuracy, and actionable reporting rather than advanced statistical techniques. We are looking for someone with strong expertise in Excel (including Power Query and data modeling), solid experience working with relational datasets and Salesforce exports, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
