Landscape & Interior Designer Needed for a Private Event Garden Venue in Zaragoza, Spain. We are looking for a creative and practical Landscape Designer / Interior Designer — ideally someone with experience in hospitality, event venues, gardens, outdoor spaces, or boutique leisure concepts — to develop the design concept for a private event venue in Zaragoza, Spain. The project is called Jardín La Ciruela. It is a 1,200 m² private property that will be rented exclusively to one group at a time for birthdays, family gatherings, company events, small celebrations and get-togethers. This is not a restaurant, a traditional banquet hall, or a holiday rental. The concept is to create a private, flexible and memorable place where guests can celebrate in their own way: they can bring their own food and drinks, while also having the option to add practical services or items such as charcoal, tableware, beer barrels, cleaning service, a candy bar cart, gas bottle and paella burner, etc. The intended audience includes groups of friends aged around 30–40, families, and companies. We want guests to feel that they have their own private garden and social space for the day: comfortable, relaxed, well designed and easy to use. Existing site The property is located in Zaragoza, Spain, so the landscaping proposal must take into account the local climate: hot, dry summers, cold winters, strong sun and the need for practical, low-maintenance planting. The site includes: A total surface area of approximately 1,200 m². Two covered structures, each measuring 8 x 16 metres (128 m² each), similar in form to greenhouse/tunnel structures with curved roofs. One structure has an imprinted concrete floor. The other has a gravel floor. A small separate building containing three toilets. An existing swimming pool. The remaining area consists of outdoor space to be designed and organised. The two covered structures are important elements of the project. We would like to transform and integrate them so that they feel intentional, attractive and connected to the garden, rather than looking like purely utilitarian or industrial structures. Design vision We are looking for a professional who can help us create a coherent interior and exterior concept with different areas for different moments of an event. The space should feel private, natural, warm, contemporary and high quality, while remaining functional for frequent use by groups. We do not want an overly ornate or strongly themed garden. We are interested in ideas that may combine Mediterranean contemporary, relaxed boutique resort, naturalistic garden and refined rustic styles. However, we are open to creative proposals from the designer. The final layout should consider, among other possibilities: Outdoor dining area. Indoor/covered dining or multipurpose area. Chill-out and conversation areas. Poolside relaxation area. Barbecue and food-preparation area. Potential bar or drinks area. Shaded areas. Evening atmosphere and ambient lighting. Comfortable circulation between all areas. Landscaping that creates privacy, visual interest and separate “micro-environments”. What we need We are initially looking for a concept and design proposal, which may include: Site layout / zoning proposal. Mood boards and overall design direction. Ideas for the two curved-roof covered structures. Outdoor landscaping concept. Recommended plant palette suitable for Zaragoza’s climate and low-maintenance use. Materials, finishes and furniture recommendations. Outdoor and indoor lighting concept for daytime and nighttime events. 2D plans and, ideally, 3D visualisations/renders to help us understand the proposal. A phased implementation approach, if appropriate. A preliminary budget range or priorities for implementation, if this is within your service. We have a website currently under construction: Jardín La Ciruela. It represents the initial business idea and visual direction, but it is not final. We are open to improving, rethinking or redesigning its visual identity and spatial concept if needed.
