Wireless Earbuds Charging Armband Design
USD 30–250
About the project
I’m developing a compact armband that does more than simply hold a pair of true-wireless earbuds. The unit must: • accept and charge the earbuds inside a dedicated cradle • show remaining battery percentage on the armband itself • provide soft LED accent lighting that doubles as a quick “at-a-glance” charge indicator All power management, enclosure design, and cradle geometry need to be optimised specifically for modern wireless earbuds (no wired option required). I already have rough sketches of the form factor; what I’m missing is a full product-ready package that blends industrial design, electronics, and user-friendly ergonomics. Deliverables I’d like from you: 1. 3D CAD files of the armband body and earbud cradle (STEP preferred) 2. PCB schematic, board layout, and BOM covering the charging circuit, battery gauge, and LED driver 3. Firmware or micro-controller logic to drive the battery monitor and LEDs 4. A short assembly guide and manufacturing notes suitable for rapid prototyping or small-batch production Files created in SolidWorks/Fusion 360 and Altium/KiCad are ideal, but I’m flexible if you have an equivalent professional workflow. Once I approve the design, I’ll move straight into a physical prototype run, so please keep component availability and DFM considerations in mind from the start.
